Easter Time

We love Easter time around here. Our yard is blooming like crazy with irises, birds of paradise, calla lilies, iceplant blossoms, tulip magnolias, and nosturtium. We have decorated 3 dozen eggs, had them hidden by the Easter Bunny and found them. The kids have way too much candy in their baskets. We have eaten John's delicious "Eggs Golden Rod" (with the delightful addition of lemon juice as a garnish). We are going on many outings to parks and on hikes to celebrate these beautiful spring days, and just feeling new and happy all around...for the moment, anyway. Church was amazing today. The talks were great, and the spirit was strong. I had to teach, which did not add to the luster of the day at first, but when all was said and done, as always, I'm grateful for the experience (will write more about this later, I think). Anyway, here's the proof!

Wow- your grass looks very green. I love your front yard and all your plants. Sure beats our random bush cluster thing in our front yard. Am also impressed that you know the names of all your plants.

Where is that giant bird's nest your kids are creeping through located? In your yard? Happy Late Easter! Love, Mark.
